Job summary

Amada America, Inc. seeks a field service professional to support customers with installation, service, training, and line-control software for Amada machinery.

The role includes traveling in assigned territories and performing equipment setup, programming, and customer instruction. The candidate will troubleshoot electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, prepare service and expense reports, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year Electronics degree or a 2-year related degree with work experience preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and train customers on Amada machinery and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Travel regularly within assigned territories with occasional overnight stays.
• Operate, program, and train customers on Amada software and line control tools.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work from elevations as needed.
