Job summary

Amada is seeking a field service technician to support customers with Amada Punch Presses, installation, service, and training across equipment lines including brakes and shears. You will program and train on Amada software, manage on-site tasks, and document progress with reports.

Qualified candidates have an electronics background (4-year degree or 2-year with related experience) and can travel within the region. Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems.
• Ability to travel within assigned territories and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with Amada Punch Presses, including installation and service.
• Provide training on operation, software, and part programming.
• Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Communicate effectively in English and maintain customer relations.
