Job summary

Amada America, Inc. seeks a field service engineer to support Amada Punch Presses and related equipment. You will install, service, and train customers in operation, programming, and software, including line control and automation training.

Travel across assigned territories is required, with lifting up to 50 lbs and strong customer relations. The role may involve working with press brakes, shears and other fabricating machines, and requires a 4-year Electronics degree or a 2-year related degree

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Electronics or a 2 year degree with related work experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and train customers on Amada Punch Presses and related equipment.
• Provide operation, programming, and software training including line control.
• Maintain daily service reports and travel within territories.
• Communicate effectively in English and maintain excellent customer relations.
• Handle installation processes at customer sites and lift up to 50 lbs.
