Job summary

Fuel Tech is seeking a Site Service Technician to support Fuel Chem installations at a Beulah, ND site. You will be trained to operate and maintain the system, assist with start-up and field optimization, and travel to regional sites as required.

The role requires a HS diploma, mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills. You will perform routine maintenance, handle chemical shipments, and document operations while upholding safety standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and proven experience operating or maintaining mechanical equipment.
• A skilled trade or some college coursework is desirable.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use common tools.
• Must be able to use a computer for email and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and ongoing operation of Fuel Chem system installations.
• Be trained in operation and maintenance of the system, its equipment and components.
• Travel to other sites for installation support, startup and field optimization as needed.
• Review project equipment, perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Receive chemical shipments, ensure proper paperwork, and prevent releases.
• Prepare daily logs and periodic operation reports.
• Attend project meetings and communicate with clients, contractors and site staff.
• Work safely and in compliance with laws, policies and site rules.
