Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a Service Technician to provide professional field service installation, startup, repairs and maintenance of our products.

You will travel to customer sites, diagnose issues, test equipment, and ensure safe operation. On-call coverage for contaminations, marine and spills may apply; CDL is preferred but not required; you will work with a safety-focused team across locations in the region.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with fuel tank installation and maintenance.
• DOT and FMCSA physical requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Ability to drive to various locations for work.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Manage all onsite tank installations, repairs, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
• Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• On call required for contaminations, marine and spills.
• May travel out of town/state for projects.
