Job summary

ChampionX in Williston, ND seeks a Chemical Service Technician to support Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts and assist in starting up new applications in existing and new customers.

You will provide technical support, perform chemistry tests, log data, and maintain product inventories at assigned sites; install and calibrate chemical feed and process monitoring equipment. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or trade school certification preferred.
• 2+ years in technical service or field sales support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in district accounts.
• Assist start-ups of new applications in existing customers and new accounts.
• Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve pain points.
• Execute chemistry tests, log and report data, maintain inventories at accounts.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment; travel up to 10%.
