Job summary

Pump & Meter Service is seeking a service technician to troubleshoot, repair and service automotive, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical petroleum equipment. The role involves on-site maintenance, testing equipment, and communicating complex issues clearly to customers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and be able to travel outside the standard service area. Prior experience in mechanical or electrical industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and performs repairs and preventative maintenance on fueling equipment.
• Monitors and manages parts inventory for the service van and transfers to jobs or other technicians as needed.
• Analyzes problems and provides repairs for electronic and mechanical issues.
• Installs, programs and tests new equipment.
• Takes samples and conducts environmental tests to determine quality.
• Communicates technical issues to customers in understandable terms.
• Completes compliance documentation.
