Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies seeks a field service technician to install, calibrate, service and repair production equipment at manufacturing plants and pad locations. You will troubleshoot, commission functions, and report activities back to the office, ensuring safety and quality.

Travel up to 100% may be required, including overnight stays. A High School Diploma with technical training is preferred; experience with burners, PLCs, schematics, and dehydration equipment is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in oil and gas equipment servicing or similar.
• Willingness to travel 30–100% with overnight stays as required.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs and project documentation.
• Experience with commissioning or startup of Oil and Gas Production and Midstream equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, service, and repair production equipment at manufacturing plants and pad locations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems, report activities and issues to the office.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance and complete documentation for each job.
