Job summary

Fuel Tech is seeking a Site Service Technician to support installation and ongoing operation of Fuel Chem systems at a Beulah, ND site. You will learn operation and maintenance of equipment, work with field teams, and travel for installation support at other sites as needed.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to use common tools and basic computer software for reports and communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and proven experience operating or maintaining mechanical equipment.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to use common tools and basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Review and learn project equipment and systems.
• Perform basic preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Receive and document chemical shipments with proper paperwork and safety checks.
• Verify system performance by observing operation, calibrations and data.
• Inspect boilers/furnaces for slag and fouling indicators.
• Prepare logs and operation reports as requested.
• Travel to regional sites to observe work and support installations.
