Job summary

ICEE is seeking Service Technicians in Lawrence, KS to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, including frozen beverage dispensers, ice makers, and beverage systems. You will work with minimal supervision, attend weekly Service Center meetings, and receive a company vehicle, tools, a gas card, a cell phone, a tablet, and uniforms.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, prompt response to dispatched calls, proper inventory management, and clear communication with customers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Service ICEE and restaurant equipment including dispensers and ice makers.
• Respond to dispatched service calls promptly and ensure ETA adherence.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
• Document all work performed and report to supervisor; communicate with customers.
• Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning, organizing, and shipping/receiving.
• Attend weekly meetings at the Service Center and adapt to duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
