Job summary

ICEE is seeking a Service Technician to support our beverage equipment service network in Atlanta, GA. You will respond to dispatched calls, perform maintenance and repairs on ice machines and beverage dispensers, and coordinate with supervisors and customers.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a valid Real-ID driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy items. Company vehicle, gas card, and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of technical or vocational school preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more regularly; occasional lifting over 70 lbs.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Receives dispatched service calls and responds promptly.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs; checks syrup levels and cleanliness.
• Maintains inventory and company vehicle maintenance.
• Reviews service orders with supervisor and communicates with customers.
• Documents work and closes out activities.
• Communicates clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Performs general warehouse duties including shipping/receiving.
• Fulfills additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
