Job summary

ICEE is seeking Service Technicians in Amarillo, TX to service frozen and beverage equipment across our network. You will receive a company vehicle, tools, and training, and you’ll respond to service calls with minimal supervision to keep equipment running.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document work, while maintaining strong customer relations and safety standards. Valid REAL ID and steel-toed shoes are required, with travel across the region as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on ETA.
• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed.
• Maintains inventory and maintenance on equipment such as parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
• Reviews service orders and service performed with the supervisor. Keeps supervisor informed of customer concerns and upsell opportunities.
• Documents all work performed and closes out all activities upon completion.
• Clearly communicates with customers and co-workers.
• Performs general warehouse duties including cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
