Job summary

ICEE is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair frozen beverage equipment across locations, including carbonated and non-carbonated dispensers and related machinery. The role requires driving to customer sites, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring equipment reliability.

The position emphasizes safety with steel-toed footwear, valid Real-ID driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver's License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Trained and certified in preventive maintenance and installations.
• Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on ETA.
• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed.
• Maintains inventory and maintenance equipment such as parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
• Reviews service orders and service performed with the supervisor; keeps supervisor informed of customer concerns and up-selling opportunities.
• Documents all work performed and closes out all activities upon completion.
• Clearly communicates with customers and co-workers.
• Performs general warehouse duties including cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
