Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC, a Raymond Dealer, is seeking Field Technicians to service lift trucks and automated equipment at customer sites across Alabama. You’ll diagnose problems, perform installations and repairs, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and ongoing training, with a take-home service van, tools, and uniform allowances. Travel daily to client sites and grow with a leading automation integrator.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of related field experience preferred in maintenance, repair, or installation.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronics; able to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems and performing installations and repairs.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and recommend actions to resolve issues.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively with customers.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers per policies and procedures.
• Keep track of parts and supplies in the service van and ensure resources are available.
• Ensure the service van is maintained and stocked with necessary equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines at customer sites and prioritize safety for all.
