Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician in Bristol, PA to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors. You will work on sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and participate in AAADM certification and training programs. A valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy loads are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V; access control a plus).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Strong safety focus, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Able to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 110 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
