Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and ensure safety and reliability of access solutions.

You must have mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and a valid driver's license. AAADM certification and flexibility for on-site visits are required to deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Ability to lift, climb, and use power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
