Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in the United States is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

You will work at customer sites performing planned maintenance and break‑fix repairs, with opportunities for training and AAADM certification within one year. A company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring is a plus.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end‑users, and contractors, delivering exceptional service.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 110 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.
