Job summary

LG Electronics North America in the Grand Rapids, MI area is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) to service LG appliances in customers' homes. You will diagnose, repair and maintain major home electronics while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of technical experience in appliance repair.
• Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration, cooking, cleaning).
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain EPA certification.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to service LG equipment.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs on appliances, TVs, and A/C units.
• Manage inventory and handle related paperwork.
• Meet or exceed customer satisfaction and other metrics.
• Pre-screen next day service calls by gathering necessary information.
