Job summary

Gunnebo Entrance Control North America is seeking a full-time Service Engineer to support the Chicago area with product and installation assistance, preventive maintenance, and responsive service requests. You will empower the Sales team with technical insights and maintain a strong first-time-fix approach to drive customer satisfaction.

You will travel to client sites, assist with system installations, and provide remote support to partners, ensuring high-quality service and ongoing account

Qualifications

• Experience with service/installation work in security or access control environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work across varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Sales Engineering support for new opportunities across the Sales life cycle.
• Provide remote technical support to our partners and customers, occasionally out of hours; includes installation and preventive service.
• Maintain high standards of customer relations and a first-time-fix mindset.
• Assist service team and other engineers to deliver effective service provision.
