Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an entry-level technician to assist in running compressor jobs and operating equipment. You will participate in field operations, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meeting production and reliability targets.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a strong mechanical aptitude, with training opportunities through Kodiak’s SSE program and on-site development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• SSE program completion preferred.
• Knowledge of gas processes and compressor fundamentals a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running one or more compression jobs and operate compressor packages.
• Provide feedback for operating policies and material forecasts for units.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and participate in ongoing training.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report any hazards.
• Provide 24/7 coverage as needed and support on-call rotations.
• Communicate with Supply Chain to analyze parts and inventory needs.
