Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking an entry-level technician to assist in running one or more compression jobs, operating compressor packages and related equipment, and supporting policy development and material forecasts. The role includes on-the-job training and potential advancement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), basic gas process knowledge, and a willingness to learn mechanical diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• OEM/Trade School or comparable work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of gas processes and motor compressors (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, etc.) preferred.
• 1 year compression process, production or equipment experience preferred.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities per Kodiak procedures and objectives.
• Troubleshoot and build troubleshooting skills on the job and in training.
• Attend HSE meetings and follow HSE protocols.
• Analyze job parts and inventory to communicate needs to Supply Chain.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure service quality.
• Take corrective actions to guarantee 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment.
• Keep assigned units clean and presentable.
• Complete required reports per operating procedures/policies.
• Provide 24/7 coverage; participate in on-call rotations.
• Complete SSE program successfully and assist with additional tasks.
