  • Train customers on proper use of equipment and services.
  • Troubleshoot and repair from tap to consumer device and ensure signal quality.

(Based on experience)Quarterly bonuses based on incentive program!Receive nationally recognized certifications which upon completion boosts your pay!Medical, dental, and vision insurance401k with a company match, PTO, paid holidays, FlexPay, and tuition reimbursement.Receive a company vehicle, gas card, tools, professional uniform, and PPE!Defined career pathing opportunities including Lead, Supervisor, Manager, and Director.Significant discounts on broadband packages for employees residing in our service areas.What you’ll be doing:Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:Perform new connects, reconnects, disconnects, upgrades, downgrades and change-of-service, for phone, internet or video servicesInstall and relocate outletsInstall or remove converters and cable modemsInstall interior and exterior wiringConnect peripheral equipmentTrain customers on proper use of equipmentMonitor, repair and record system, drop, and in-house leakageAssure proper signal levels and picture qualityIdentify causes of picture and/or signal degradationTroubleshoot from consumer device to tapTroubleshoot, repair and replace components from tap to consumer deviceAssure system security by terminating unused ports and tag drops and locking pedestalsTake voltage measurementsUnderstand/apply FCC and NESC technical standardsIdentify and report all incidents of noncompliance (FCC, NESC, OSHA and WOW standards)Provide superior customer service & maintain professional appearance/behavior at all timesComplete all tasks to WOW! quality standardsMaintain excellent attendanceResponsible for motor vehicle per company policy including equipment & tool inventory, vehicle security and vehicle maintenanceReplaces defective/damaged tap plates and installs new tapsTests, maintains, splices, repairs and replaces coax cable.Tests coax cable using signal level meters, volt-OHM meters, spectrum analyzers and compares findings with documentation.Performs network troubleshooting including ping test, trace routes and speed test.Other duties as assigned - which may include training other employeesAll YOU need is:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
