Job summary

WOW! is seeking a Field Service Technician in Knoxville, TN to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain WOW! services at customers' homes and businesses.

You will work independently, travel to locations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include installing outlets and equipment, diagnosing signal and connectivity issues, running tests, and documenting work orders accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, reconnect, disconnect, and modify internet, video, and phone services.
• Install and relocate outlets, converters, modems, and customer equipment.
• Run interior and exterior wiring and perform speed/ping/route tests.
• Diagnose signal, picture quality, and connectivity issues; troubleshoot from device to network tap.
• Document work orders accurately and maintain records.
