Job summary

Nassco is seeking a Service Technician in New Berlin, WI. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial cleaning and packaging equipment while building strong customer relationships. The role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset within a supportive environment.

You will travel to customer sites, complete service reports, and participate in ongoing training to advance technical skills. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and sound decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75–125 lbs. and perform physical movements.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment (vacuums, floor scrubbers, sweepers) to identify issues.
• Repair or replace parts, adjust, and retest equipment.
• Complete detailed service reports for every job.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Travel to customer sites to perform repairs and build relationships.
• Set up and test new equipment prior to delivery.
• Support fellow technicians and other departments as needed.

What You'll Do

In this hands‑on role, you’ll troubleshoot and repair industrial and commercial cleaning and packaging equipment, ensuring customers always receive reliable, high‑quality service. Responsibilities include:

• Testing equipment (vacuums, floor scrubbers, sweepers, etc.) to determine issues.
• Repairing or replacing parts, performing adjustments, and retesting equipment.

• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75–125 lbs., work in tight spaces, and perform physical movements such as bending, kneeling, crouching.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment with exposure to dust, temperature changes, and fragrances or odors from cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Moderate noise levels typical of industrial settings.
