Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in Morgantown, PA is seeking a Machine Field Service Technician to support automated equipment on-site. You will diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues and program PLCs/servo motors to maintain equipment performance.

The role requires hands-on assembly of basic components and sub-assemblies, with strength in electronics, engineering, and field service experience. Travel to customer sites may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associates in technology, electronics, BSEE or Industrial Engineering.
• 1+ years of field service experience with automated machinery.
• Ability to work with all levels of electrical voltage; single and three phase.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• PLC programming knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to North American customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical issues on automated equipment.
• Program PLCs and servo motors as required to keep equipment running.
• Perform basic assembly of machine components and sub-assemblies.

In this role you will be working as a Machine Field Service Technician for a client in the automated equipment industry. This position is responsible for providing technical (electrical, programming, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) support to North American customers.

This position is a direct hire role. This role must be worked on-site.

Job Requirements:

• Associates in technology or electronics or BSEE or Industrial Engineering Degree
• 1+ years of experience as a field service engineer with automated machinery
• Ability to work all levels of electrical voltage; single and three phase
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems
• PLC and servo motor control software experience
• Knowledge of PLC programming
• Ability to perform manual assembly of basic machine components and sub assemblies
