Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Field Service professional to install, maintain, and service beverage and dishwashing equipment for diverse customers in the Northwest Houston region. You will build customer relationships and ensure high uptime for machines.

The role requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and the ability to pass background checks. You may work from Monday to Friday 7AM–6PM with on-call evenings and weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (MVR will be run).
• Ability to pass drug screen, motor vehicle report, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, perform preventive maintenance, and service coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing equipment for a range of customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and manage service calls in Northwest Houston and surrounding areas.
• Operate safely and follow maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Position Summary:

Field Service professional, tasked with providing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and customer relations.

***The selected candidate will service Northwest Houston and surrounding areas. Thee ideal candidate resides within the service territory***

What will you do?

As a service Specialist you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

When you will work:

• Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service. This includes a weekend rotation and on call evenings.
  • Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited

What you'll bring to the table:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check - we do not check your credit score)
• Two years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
