Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Field Service Professional to deliver preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and strong customer relations for a range of food service equipment.

You’ll install, service and test coffee machines, dishwashers, juice machines and dispensing systems for national accounts, healthcare and hospitality partners, with on-the-job training and a company van provided. Requires 2 years of related experience and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service or equipment repair experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude including electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Physical ability to perform job tasks including heavy lifting.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record; background check required.

Responsibilities

Field Service professional, tasked with providing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and customer relations.

Where You’ll Be Operating

• Support northern Fort Wayne to Angola, IN and south over as far as Defiance, OH. The ideal candidate resides within the service territory and/or surrounding areas.

What You Will Do

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

When You Will Work

• Monday – Friday between the hours of 7AM – 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service.
• Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude – electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check – we do not check your credit score)
