Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Houston seeks a field service professional to provide installation, preventive maintenance, and performance measures for coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines across national accounts, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and large independent food service operators.

The ideal candidate will reside in Northwest Houston or within the service territory, work Monday–Friday with some weekend/after-hours rotation, and benefit from

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (MVR).
• Successfully pass drug screen, motor vehicle report, and background check (criminal).
• Two years previous customer service or equipment repair experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude – electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.

Responsibilities

• Install, preventive maintenance, and measure performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.
• Provide installation, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and customer relations; serve Northwest Houston and surrounding areas.

What you’ll do

As a service specialist you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventive maintenance, and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday 7AM – 6PM, with flexibility for weekend rotation and on-call evenings.
• Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited.
