Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and upgrade shipping and mailing equipment for clients in the Tampa Bay area and beyond. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware and software support in a 100% client-facing field position.

You will train customers at installation, travel within a multi-zip code territory, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while representing Pitney Bowes with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting 55 lbs+ with or without accommodation.
• Willing to travel within a multi-zip code territory with extensive windshield time.
• Familiarity with Windows environment; basic PC and networking knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment.
• Support hardware and software solutions and troubleshoot to reduce callbacks.
• Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at installation.
• Operate in a 100% client-facing capacity representing Pitney Bowes.
• Cover a multi-zip code territory with significant windshield time; maintain safe workspace.

We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working in a client-facing environment. In this role, you will provide service to a variety of clients and support field service for all our shipping and mailing technology, from Inserters to Lockers. A successful Field Service Technician is client-centric, has strong customer service, is comfortable managing significant windshield time, and has experience repairing or troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions.This is a remote, field-based‑ role with your primary service area located within 3 hours of Tampa, Florida. Your clients in your territory are mainly focused on the Tampa, FL. and St. Petersburg, FL. Occasional travel outside this radius may be required. No relocation assistance offered.The wage range for this position is $22-$25 per hour, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as it relates to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.Sponsorship: Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
