Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, service, and upgrade shipping and mailing equipment for clients. You will work in a client-facing capacity, troubleshoot hardware and software, and train customers at installation. The role requires travel within a multi-zip code territory, lifting up to 55 lbs, and extensive windshield time with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs+ and perform field installs.
• Comfortable with significant windshield time in a multi-zip code territory.
• Familiarity with Windows environment and basic PC/Networking knowledge.
• Experience with automated equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment.
• Support hardware and software solutions for clients.
• Troubleshoot and repair to reduce client callbacks.
• Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at installation.
• Cover a multi-zip code territory with significant windshield time.

We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working in a client-facing environment. In this role, you will provide service to a variety of clients and support field service for all our shipping and mailing technology, from Inserters to Lockers. A successful Field Service Technician is client-centric, has strong customer service, is comfortable managing significant windshield time, and has experience repairing or troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions.Your primary service area will be within 3 hours Lacrosse, WI; some travel beyond this radius may be required.In this role, you will have a consistent Monday – Friday and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule working in alignment with traditional office hours (some overtime may be required).
