Pitney Bowes is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, service, and upgrade shipping and mailing equipment for clients in the Monroe, MI area and beyond. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, train clients during installation, and travel frequently within a multi-zip code territory with significant windshield time. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 55 lbs+ are required.

The role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with overtime as needed. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs+ with or without accommodation.
• Travel within multi-zip code territory up to 80% windshield time.
• Experience repairing/troubleshooting hardware and software.

Responsabilités

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment.
• Support hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce client callbacks.
• Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at installation.
• Work in a 100% client-facing capacity as a Pitney Bowes representative.
• Cover a multi-zip code territory with windshield time.
• Use hand tools or small power tools for repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working in a client-facing environment. In this role, you will provide service to a variety of clients and support field service for all our shipping and mailing technology, from Inserters to Lockers. A successful Field Service Technician is client-centric, has strong customer service, is comfortable managing significant windshield time, and has experience repairing or troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions.Your primary service area will be within 2-3 hours of Monroe, MI; some travel beyond this radius may be required.In this role, you will have a consistent Monday – Friday and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule working in alignment with traditional office hours (some overtime may be required). The wage range for this position is $25 / hour, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.Sponsorship: Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
