Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC is hiring a Field Service Technician I for on-site work at our Denison, TX location. You’ll diagnose, service, and repair a range of equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability for customer operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years equipment repair or related mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills; team-first approach and dependability.

Responsibilities

Your work will help prevent downtime, solve problems, and build the kind of trust that keeps customers coming back. ## What You’ll Do* Diagnose, service, and repair equipment, including engines, electric motors, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical systems, lifting systems, and other major components.* Keep equipment safe and dependable through preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and basic welding as needed.* Put safety first every day by following proper repair procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting company and applicable safety requirements.* Take ownership of the job by maintaining needed parts and supplies, completing service documentation on time, supporting customers, and completing required technical training. ## What You’ll Bring* High school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ year of equipment repair or related mechanical experience.* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment.* Good communication and customer service skills, along with a dependable, team-first approach to your work.* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and regularly stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist.
