Job summary

SitePro Rentals in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Field Service Technician 2 to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment. You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform repairs with strong attention to safety, and maintain accurate service records for customers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in equipment repair, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 75 pounds. You’ll travel to customer sites, work in a shop, and may participate in an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equipment repair or related industry experience.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school/tech certs preferred.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges).
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment across engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, lifting systems, drive components.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment, complete component rebuilds and basic welding as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements; maintain service records and communication with customers.
