Job summary

Scott Equipment Company is seeking a skilled individual to operate a mobile service vehicle, traveling to customer locations to perform in-field diagnostics and repairs of construction equipment. Your role will necessitate complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning as per technical manuals.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent mechanical skills, experience with diesel and hydraulic systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical skills; Diesel and hydraulic systems experience preferred.
• Current and valid driver's license as outlined in company policy manual.
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations.
• Perform field diagnostics and repair of construction equipment.

Job Description

This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in field diagnostics and repair of construction equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but are not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, work overtime and weekends on occasion.
