Scott Equipment Company in Mandeville, LA is seeking a skilled diesel truck technician to diagnose, disassemble, recondition, and repair heavy trucks following official manuals. The role requires overtime and some weekend work as needed.

You will apply excellent mechanical skills, hydraulic and diesel systems experience, and strong communication to deliver quality service. A current driver's license and solid computer skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical skills with diesel and hydraulic systems experience.
• Current and valid driver’s license as outlined in company policy manual.
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on trucks.
• Strong computer skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair of trucks, including complete component removal, disassembly and reconditioning.
• Follow prescribed technical manual procedures and ensure quality, efficient work.
• Work overtime and weekends on occasion as required

Job Description

This individual is responsible for performing diagnostics and repair of trucks as required. These repairs will consist of, but are not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, and following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, work overtime and weekends on occasion.
