Job summary

Scott Equipment Company in Broussard, LA is seeking a mobile service technician to diagnose and repair construction equipment in the field. You will travel to customer locations and perform in-field diagnostics, disassembly, reconditioning, and component removal following technical manuals.

The role requires excellent mechanical skills, experience with diesel and hydraulic systems, and strong customer service and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical skills and hydraulic/diesel experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license as per policy.
• Ability to assemble and maintain equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mobile service vehicle to diagnose and repair construction equipment in the field.
• Perform component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning following manuals.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Job Description:

This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in field diagnostics and repair of construction equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but are not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, work overtime and weekends on occasion.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical skills; Diesel and hydraulic systems experience preferred
• Current and valid drivers license as outlined in company policy manual
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment
• Strong computer skills
