Job summary

Scott Equipment Company in Broussard, LA is seeking an experienced equipment maintenance technician to diagnose and repair construction equipment. You will work on component removal, disassembly, reconditioning, and follow prescribed manuals to ensure quality and efficiency.

Overtime and weekend work may be required. Ideal candidates bring excellent mechanical skills, diesel/hydraulic experience, and strong customer service and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical skills; Diesel and hydraulic systems experience preferred.
• Current and valid driver's license as outlined in company policy manual.
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair of construction equipment as required.
• Repairs include removal, disassembly, and reconditioning following manuals.

Job Description

This individual is responsible for performing diagnostics and repair of construction equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, and following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, and also work overtime and weekends occasionally.
