Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Las Vegas to install and support wireless communications systems. You will handle basic codeplugs, radio installations, and troubleshooting at customer sites.

Travel regionally and on-call hours may be required. A strong electronics background, RF/telecom knowledge, and MS Office proficiency are preferred; a valid driver's license is required for assignment acceptance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of service technician experience diagnosing, repairing, programming and installing 2-way radios and related equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of 2-way radio theory and RF propagation across frequency bands.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and support wireless communications systems at customer sites.
• Create basic programming codeplugs (less than 12 channels) and perform basic mobile installations.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective two-way radios and related equipment.
• Regional travel and on-call hours may be required.
