Job summary

BearCom invites experienced field service technicians to join our team in California. The role focuses on installation, diagnosis, and support of wireless communications systems across UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz platforms. Expect regional travel and on-call hours.

The candidate should have strong electronics background, RF theory, and hands-on experience with test equipment and networked systems. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics Technology or related field.
• Journeyman level within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair, and program RF equipment and two-way radio systems.
• Install and service wireless communications gear including DAS/BDA systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
• Operate and interpret test equipment to verify system performance.
