Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; diesel, heavy equipment, hydraulic, or electrical technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum three years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing mobile mining, construction, or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; MSHA Part 46/48 training or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on Sandvik mining equipment in line with OEM specs.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, electronic control, diesel, powertrain, and pneumatic systems using manuals and tools.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore equipment safely and promptly.
• Support assembly, pre-delivery inspection, commissioning, and handover of new or rebuilt equipment.
