Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum three years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing mobile mining or heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; MSHA Part 46/48 training (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to travel regularly within East Tennessee and surrounding region, including overnight stays.
• Proven troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical/electronic control, and diesel systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance and service on Sandvik equipment per OEM specifications and customer maintenance plans.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, electronic control, diesel engine, powertrain, rock drill, and pneumatic system faults.
• Respond to breakdown and emergency service calls to minimize downtime and restore equipment safely.
• Support assembly, pre-delivery inspection, commissioning, and handover of new/rebuilt equipment and operator training.
• Complete field service reports and time entries in Maximo and Dayforce for every job.
