Job summary

SmartFlower Solar LLC in Woburn, MA is seeking a hands-on technician to join our engineering and field service team. The role covers servicing electro-mechanical equipment, installations, and customer support, with autonomy on shop floor and field work.

You will collaborate with a small, global team across engineering, service, manufacturing, and quality control to ensure service excellence and product reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with vocational training or higher in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy.
• Hands-on field experience with mechanical assembly and electrical interconnections.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Legally authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willing to travel up to 15% within North America.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service case escalations, installations, and field service calls with Install and Service Manager.
• Manage North American spare parts and customer fulfillment.
• Conduct system and component failure analysis, refurbishment and testing.
• Provide training and remote troubleshooting to customers and partners.
• Monitor KPIs like order fulfillment time and customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvements in shop operations to reduce costs.
