Job summary

SmartFlower LLC is seeking a hands‑on Service Engineer to join our customer service and engineering team. The Equipment Service Agent will support remote and on‑site service of electro‑mechanical solar equipment, operating independently across email and phone channels and field service visits.

You’ll troubleshoot, perform installations, train customers and work with a global team to resolve issues while driving service quality and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical education in electrical, mechanical or renewable energy field (HS diploma with trade training or higher)
• Experience with electro‑mechanical equipment and field service is a plus
• Driver's license with ability to travel within North America up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Handle North American service cases via email/phone; remote troubleshooting and proactive outreach.
• Conduct field service calls including break fixes and maintenance visits; oversee installations.
• Collaborate with global teams to escalate field issues and develop engineering solutions.
• Manage North American spare parts logistics, fulfillment and inventory optimization.
• Perform system/component failure analysis, refurbishment and testing as needed.
• Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, reliability and cost efficiency.
