Job summary

SmartFlower is seeking an Equipment Service Agent to join our customer service and engineering team in North America. The role blends on-site field service, remote support, and collaboration with a global team to improve product reliability.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with motors and motion systems, electrical interconnections, and equipment maintenance; PV or industrial equipment experience is a plus. Travel up to 15% and a valid US driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field experience with motors and motion systems, electrical interconnections and equipment maintenance.
• Experience with photovoltaic systems or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency with common business and collaboration tools (Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; willing to travel within North America up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Handle North American service cases including email and phone support, remote troubleshooting and proactive outreach.
• Carry out field service calls including break fix and maintenance visits; oversee installations and provide training.
• Escalate field issues to engineering; identify failure modes and develop solutions.
• Manage North American spare parts fulfillment and inventory optimization.
• Perform system and component failure analysis, refurbishment and testing.
