Job summary

SmartFlower Solar LLC is seeking a hands-on Equipment Service Agent to join our customer service and engineering team. You will perform on-site service, remote support, and field installations for electro-mechanical equipment, with up to 15% travel across North America.

We value independence, proactive problem solving, and collaboration across a distributed team. The role requires a technical education and hands-on experience with motors, electrical interconnections and PV systems.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (high school diploma plus vocational training, trade school or an associate or bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or renewable energy field).
• Hands-on field experience with motors and motion systems, electrical interconnections and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency with common business tools (Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence).
• Legally allowed to work in the US; willing to travel North America up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Handle North American service cases via email/phone; meet response and resolution time targets.
• Carry out field service calls including break fixes and maintenance visits; oversee installations.
• Partner with global teams to elevate field issues for engineering attention; develop solutions.
• Manage North American spare parts including customer fulfillment and inventory optimization.
• Conduct system and component failure analysis, refurbishment and testing as needed.
• Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery and drive down cost.
