Job summary

Syntegon Technology is seeking a field-based technician to install, test, analyze, maintain, repair and train on Syntegon Pharmaceutical Solid Systems at customer sites. You will provide customers with excellent technical service and help safeguard and grow our pharmaceutical packaging business.

This role travels 80% domestically and internationally, primarily to Philadelphia-area sites, with no fixed office.

Qualifications

• 2-year Packaging Machinery degree and 2 years of experience on packaging equipment or 5 years in repair/maintenance of capital equipment.
• 2-years’ experience working directly with Customers
• Ability to travel 80% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Provide turnkey support for start-up, IQ, OQ, and PQ validation testing on new machine installations.
• Update and modify machine control software and train customers on use and maintenance.
• Coordinate development activities and upgrades to improve machine functionality.
• Provide support to Customers, Customer Service and Sales as required.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain technical proficiency on new equipment and existing systems.
• Work in a cleanroom environment, fully gowned; lift up to 50lbs regularly
