Job summary

Syntegon Technology Services LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician for Pharma Solid Filling & Packaging Systems. The role is field-based, with travel to customer sites in the Philadelphia area and surrounding regions; the Raleigh, NC site serves as NA Service Hub headquarters.

Expect no fixed office and extensive travel from home base. You will install, test, analyze, maintain, repair, and train customers on Syntegon equipment, ensuring high satisfaction and new business growth.

Qualifications

• 2-year Packaging Machinery degree and 2 years of experience working on Packaging Equipment OR 5 years overall experience in repair and maintenance of capital equipment.
• 2-years’ experience working directly with Customers
• Ability to travel 80% of the time Domestically and Internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide turnkey start-up, IQ, OQ, and PQ validation testing on new machine installations.
• Update machine control software at customer sites and train users on operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate development activities and upgrades to improve machine functionality.
• Provide support to Customers, Customer Service and Sales as required.
• Participate in continuous training to maintain technical expertise on new equipment and applications.
• Work in a cleanroom environment, fully gowned, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
