Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Field Service Technician 1 to perform on-site repairs, inspections, and maintenance of building products with safety, quality, and customer service at the forefront.

The role offers hands-on field operations, travel within territory, and opportunities to develop technical skills in fenestration products while contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license; ability to clear an MVR.
• 1–2 years general construction or fenestration experience preferred.
• 1–2 years fenestration manufacturing or installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field Repairs & Adjustments: basic field repairs including hardware and glass replacements.
• Product Evaluations & Inspections: on-site assessments of product performance and repair needs.
• Safety & Compliance: follow safety protocols and use PPE; inspect safety equipment.
• Vehicle Operation & Maintenance: drive company vehicles safely and perform routine maintenance.
• Inventory Management: manage tools and supplies inventory.
• Customer Service & Communication: explain repair issues and solutions to customers.
• Travel: travel within territory daily; overnight travel may be required.
