Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Field Service Technician 1 in Toledo, OH to perform on-site repairs, inspections, and routine maintenance of building products. You’ll interact with customers, follow safety protocols, and ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and 1–2 years in construction or fenestration installation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to clear an MVR check.
• 1–2 years of general construction or building material installation experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of fenestration manufacturing or installation experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook & CRM) and proficiency with hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic field repairs including hardware and glass replacements.
• Conduct on-site product evaluations and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols, handle glass, and use PPE.
• Operate company vehicles safely and perform routine maintenance.
• Manage tools and supplies inventory.
• Communicate repair issues and solutions to customers.
• Travel within assigned territory daily; overnight travel may be required.
