Cornerstone Building Brands in Toledo, OH, is seeking a Field Service Technician 1 to perform on-site repairs, inspections, and maintenance of building products with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

You will conduct field repairs, evaluate product performance, follow safety protocols, operate company vehicles, manage inventory, and travel within the territory daily; overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to perform precise repairs and inspections.
• Strong customer service skills to build trust and foster repeat business.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic field repairs, including hardware and glass replacements and product inspections.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to assess product performance and identify repair needs.
• Follow safety protocols including glass handling, working at heights, and PPE use; inspect safety equipment.
• Operate company vehicles safely and perform routine maintenance.
• Manage tools and supplies inventory to keep stock organized.
• Communicate repair issues and solutions clearly to customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Travel within assigned territory daily; overnight travel may be required.
